The property is strategically located along the Tipo Expressway, near the Bureau of Customs Office and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Toll Gate. It is a strategic location for an Industrial Park especially for inbound and outbound shipping and deliveries of products that will be manufactured within the site. Several landmark in the vicinity includes the Holy Land Subic Sanctuary and Total Gasoline Station.

OBJECTIVES
The project’s objectives were to construct an Eco- Industrial Park equipped with infrastructure facilities in order to promote exports and foster local industries, and in so doing, to create employment opportunities and boost local industries in the vicinity of Subic.
Outline of Planning and Implementation Program
The planning intention of Subic Eco- iPark is build a modern industrial park that would be eco-friendly, environmentally sustainable place and that would not only lure foreign companies but that would also be open to local industries. This aim was consistent with the then current industrial development policies of Subic. In spite of the fact that the promotion of export oriented industries and the growth of local industries had been identified as priority tasks in Subic, industrial parks equipped with infrastructure facilities continued to be insufficient. As of now, delivery trucks passing through customs for checking and declaring the goods made the Expressway congested. The Subic, Tipo Road site was selected among other sites that were of a certain size and had a favorable location. Future relocation of customs toll right in front of the site, convenient access along Subic – Tipo Expressway as the base for physical distribution, the social environment of the area, and the ability to secure the necessary infrastructure were key conditions in making the selection.
