A total of 2,877 companies are operating inside Subic Freeport, a 32 percent increase over last year’s figure of 1,942. These companies have also committed investments of more than $8.4 billion.

Subic: The Million Dollar Zone of The North

As a result, the demand for workforce has increased. It has skyrocketed to 125,288, which is 10 percent higher over last year’s 112,653 employees. In addition to that, from 276.2 million investment projects in 2019 it rose to 555.2 million this year.

Billion worth projects will soon rise in Subic. SBMA has approved P4.48-billion investment projects, P1.6-billion Subic expressway widening project, P2-billion Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and Subic Clark Railway Project to connect Clark and Subic’s cargo operation thatbwill start first quarter next year.

Given the sustained efforts and influx of tourists and investors, Subic will undoubtedly become even more progressive where a sweeter life is waiting ahead.
